Carved 2 deals with the origins of the legend of the slit-mouthed woman.
Sachiko, Yukie and Mayumi lived in a small town in Japan. The eldest, Sachiko, was engaged to be married. Yukie was running a successful business while Mayumi is a member of the high school track team.
One night, as Mayumi was sleeping, Sachiko's ex-boyfriend slips into their house and pours acid onto her face, having mistaken Mayumi for Sachiko. Left traumatized by the incident, Mayumi begins to isolate herself and performs atrocious crimes of her own.
